SMMA's Interior Designers work across numerous markets – K-12, Higher Education, Life Science, Workplace – allowing us to grow our skills and perspectives. What students, teachers, or researchers are asking for today often shows up in the workplace tomorrow: more choice, more flexibility, more purpose.
Wellness plays an integral role in how we design spaces. We craft environments enriched by healthy materials, natural light, acoustics, and thoughtful layouts, ensuring our design choices elevate wellbeing, comfort, and choice.
Cambridge Savings Bank Operations Center is the first building in New England to achieve Platinum WELL v2.
“All clients have unique goals. Where we excel is going beyond programmatic questions and understanding your organization at an intimate level.
Where have you come from, and where are you headed? What does each person need to be at their best? What does success look like? Only through this empathy can we design spaces that create energy and excitement for your people, whatever they do or how they do it.”
“We’re a really dedicated group. We lean on collaboration, not competition and our strong teamwork reflects this. Our interdisciplinary knowledge comes from working with SMMA's in-house architects, engineers, sustainability specialists, and graphic designers. This allows us to see the bigger picture and make smarter choices for a truly integrated, holistic design.”
