Project Description: EMC's goal for this project was to attract and keep the best technology workers in a new "smart" building at its headquarters campus. To keep pace with the explosive growth of this global storage company, the 164,000 sf first phase was compressed into a 12-month design/construction schedule. SMMA's design for the new building incorporated state-of-the-art technology and engineering design, as well as contemporary amenities such as meeting areas with espresso bars and inviting conversational groupings.
