Darling and McCormack Announced as Principals at SMMA

SMMA has announced two promotions to the role of principal: architect and Design Technology Manager Dave Darling, and Director of Administration Heather McCormack.
SMMA’s design for a new vertical addition at 100 Hood Park Drive in Charlestown, MA, received unanimous approval last week from the Boston Civic Design Commission (BCDC).
SMMA last week announced 11 new promotions at the firm, including two new Senior Associates and nine new Associates. Ara Krafian, President and CEO, confirmed the promotions at a company all-hands meeting and praised each individual’s stellar contributions to SMMA.
SMMA’s Philip Poinelli was announced this week as a new LE Fellow by the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) at the LearningSCAPES 2021 Conference in Denver, Colorado.
