Hutker Discusses Lyceum Fellowship with DesignIntelligence

SMMA’s association with the Lyceum Fellowship—a program established by our founder, Jon McKee, to “advance the development of the next generation of talent by creating a vehicle for stimulating perceptive reasoning”—is something in which we take an enormous amount of pride. The program, now in its 30th year, rewards the best of what we aspire to as designers of the built environment—curiosity, creativity, and the unyielding desire to challenge the status quo and push design thinking forward.

Renowned architect Mark A. Hutker, FAIA, a Fellowship board member and founder of Massachusetts-based Hutker Architects, recently contributed a piece to DesignIntelligence, discussing the history of the Lyceum, what the program has meant to him throughout his career, and what’s to come in the next 30 years.
